Lawndale -- rejected townhouse

As some of you know, I thought I had settled on the perfect place off of craigslist. It was sharing a townhouse with another girl from Michigan. But then I started talking to friends familiar with LA, and they all said Lawndale was not the best area to live. So I turned it down. I drove by it the other day and was glad I made that decision. The complex itself was nice, but the surrounding area was pretty ghetto.

This is the golf course clubhouse across the street. Not very nice-looking as far as golf course clubhouses go.
